The International Ophthalmic Optics Forum was held in Xi'an on July 2nd-3rd, 2023. As a gold sponsor, Maat Optical actively participated in the forum to advocate for eye health.

The International Ophthalmic and Optometric Optics Development Forum, co-hosted by FOCUS Magazine and the Lotingen International Optometry Academy, was held on July 2nd-3rd, 2023. It is a top-level professional exchange event in the field of optometry in China, focusing on the visual health of the elderly and supporting the optometry industry.
Maat Optical, with its focus on color-changing lenses, particularly its Dr. Li series of photochromic lenses for the prevention of age-related cataracts, aligns perfectly with the theme of the forum. In collaboration with Daquan Eyewear, Maat Optical also created a dedicated area for cataract prevention and control, providing a range of display templates for local stores in Yunnan.
During the forum, Mr. Zhang, a senior trainer from Maat Optical, delivered a presentation on the relationship between color-changing lenses, ultraviolet light, and cataracts. He emphasized the importance of daily wear of color-changing lenses as a key factor in preventing age-related cataracts, highlighting its significance within the overall eye health strategy. With a 20-year focus on photochromic lenses, Maat Optical actively promotes the development of eye health initiatives.
